Sandy Bauers, Philadelphia Inquirer
http://www.philly.com/philly/columnists/sandy_bauers/
Bauers has been working for the Philadelphia Inquirer since the early 1990's. She was named the Inquirer's official environmental reporter in 2006. In addition to writing environmentally focused articles for the paper, she also runs a biweekly blog on Philly.com called Greenspace, about environmental conversation topics. Her last post was in November, 2014 and as of October 15, 2015 the blog has relaunched, partnered with My MilkCrate, an app that helps people connect with city wide sustainability practitioners. The blog posts are written by journalists, focusing on green living and connecting people to sustainable businesses, rather than environmental news. Still listed as the head of the blog, possibly she has turned the direction of the blog to a more usable direction, inspiring and teaching the people of Philadelphia.

Jon Hurdle, NPR StateImpact and Philadelphia City Paper

https://stateimpact.npr.org/pennsylvania/author/jonhurdle/
Hurdle is a very established reporter from the UK and "one of the first national reporters to write about the effects of gas development on rural communities." He now writes for the NY Times, local papers in Philadelphia (Philadelphia City Paper) and for the NPR StateImpact project for Pennsylvania. At the Philadelphia City Paper he focuses on environmental topics including oil transportation regulations, energy hub concerns, and water quality. For StateImpact, his pieces mostly study the link between environmentalists and politics.

Greenworks Philadelphia
https://greenworksphila.wordpress.com/category/air-quality/
A blog run by Philadelphia’s Mayor’s Office of Sustainability. Clearly a biased source based on who is writing for it, but alerts the public about the positive action of the Philadelphia government when it comes to environmental and pollution problems.

Samantha Melamed, Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia City Paper
http://citypaper.net/samantha-melamed/
Melamed is currently a reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer but used to be an editor for the Philadelphia City Paper. She has written about a largely diverse set of topics but has some interesting environmental articles. First, this article discusses the Delaware River and pollution that came about from its activity, and this article talks about fracking regulations.
