Monroe-Woodbury Highschool just falls outside of Indian Point's 10 mile radius for emergency evacuations. However, it is still important to address as the school would certainly be vulnerable to aftermath affects.

Chemical Facility (hazardous waste)
Monroe-Woodbury Highschool is outside of JCI Jones Chemical Inc.'s 16 mile vulnerability zone. This is the closest High-Risk Chemical Facility vulnerability zone.
Provides minimal information, does not seem like any emergency information is readily available. I believe a lot of people know where this building is, but do not know much about it.
Severe Heat (Climate Change)
New York State's summers in future decades could be as hot as Georgia's are now.
Easily available via Internet. Has recently become a commonly debated subject in New York. Very well circulated.
Drug Abuse (Heroin)
Heroin use, as well as heroin related deaths have been raising in New York in the last few years. In 2014, 14 people were arrested in crimes involving the distribution of Heroin in Middletown, New York. This town is just a town away from MWHS.
Easily available via Internet. Has recently become more circulated as the situation continues to grow. Local knowledge.
Suicide
In early 2011, two students in MWHS committed suicide; a 16 year old junior and a 14 year old freshman.
Also, there was another well known suicide that was committed by a student in MWHS years before the previously stated incident.
