STRUCTURE * file cabinets (analytic questions): -> file drawers (themes) -> holding files (ethnographic text) -> linked to material in repo (support material) * PECE files: new genre for ethnographic writing * New themes (file drawers) can be created for emerging topics of the research. Old themes are kept archived. * Substantive and Design Logics: -> Substantive, grounded practical sense, logic related to a particular topic. used as feedback mechanisms for the project - informing new steps for the etnography project. -> Design logics: files for theoretical work. * Follows the tree 'directory-like' structure of Plone. WORKFLOW Steps for individual or collaborative work on PECE: 1. Join Group Library (of Zotero) and learn about what was already collected by the group, familiarize yourself with the tags 2. Create or locate primary material for use (identify it, tag it) 3. Create captioned images and image collections 4. Annotate content 5. Create timelines (of individual life histories, institutions, tech projects) 6. Create integrative memos (?) 7. Create a PECE file 8. Participate in an ethnographic web forum
